At Cal Poly, our Civil and Environmental Engineering students culminate their academic journey with the Senior Design Project. This capstone experience challenges students to work in teams, addressing real-world problems across a variety of engineering  domains. 

Engaging in geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering,  they transform theoretical knowledge into practical solutions through project-based learning. The Senior Design Project isn’t just about technical challenges; it also includes important aspects of team building, technical communication, and professional practice.
