Our program integrates theoretical learning with practical, outside-the-classroom learning experiences. These experiences take the form of state-of-the-art labs, student project teams, research, internships, among many others.
We are dedicated to helping students engage in hands-on research while using critical thinking, collaborative and entrepreneurial skills to help solve major societal challenges. Students can advance their research with the many resources our department offers.
We have 14 state-of-the-art labs that are used for both instruction and student projects. These labs give students an understanding of the types of technology and problems they may tackle in the industry through our on-hands approach.
