Numerous scholarships are available through Cal Poly, the College of Engineering and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Criteria include financial need, scholastic achievement, participation in school activities, community service, honors and organizational affiliations, and educational objectives.
FAFSA - All students (that would like to be considered for a need-based scholarship) must complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for CENG and CE/ENVE scholarships. For priority consideration for financial aid programs and Cal Poly scholarships, complete the FAFSA by March 2. For more information, click here.
Cal Poly Scholarship Application - To be considered for any of the Cal Poly University, College of Engineering, or Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering awards, you must complete the university application. You only need to complete the one application to apply for all available internal scholarships. We recommend applying by June 1st to ensure full consideration.
** Note: Incoming freshmen scholarships are awarded through the admissions process and are not eligible for the Internal Scholarships listed here. If you have questions, please contact the Department Office at 805-756-2947
To senior-level students in the ENVE program who demonstrate an interest in community public health or industrial safety and hygiene. The student must have financial need and have received a grade of B+ or better in the following three courses in the ENVE: a course in noise control or the equivalent, advanced course in air pollution control, advanced course in hazardous waste.
