  • Dr. Cota developed many of the courses as the Environmental Engineering Program evolved. He served as director of the Cal Poly EPA Areawide Training Center. He served as a consultant on both air pollution control and noise issues. Many of his papers can be down-loaded at:http://works.bepress.com/hcota/. Before joining Cal Poly, worked as a research engineer on fuel cells at space industrial complex. He served as a member of the California Water Quality Control Board for 17 years and currently is a member of the Research Screening Committee of the California Air Resources Board. Dr. Cota serves on the Education Committee of the West Coast Section of the Air and Waste Management Association.
