David VanMuyden is a part-time lecturer specializing in Construction Engineering and Construction Management. He has been an Estimator and Project Manager for a local Heavy Civil Contractor for the past 8 years, having experience in underground utilities, concrete flatwork, concrete structures, earthwork and hot mix asphalt paving. Mr. VanMuyden is well versed in the integration of technology in construction, being involved in GPS Modeling, GPS Grade Control, Drone Surveys and Intelligent Compaction. He lives in Los Osos with his wife and three children, enjoying family road trips, camping and mountain biking.
