Numerous scholarships are available through Cal Poly, the College of Engineering and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Criteria include financial need, scholastic achievement, participation in school activities, community service, honors and organizational affiliations, and educational objectives.
Cal Poly Scholarships - Cal Poly does not require a scholarship application for incoming students. All incoming students are automatically considered for scholarships for which they qualify. However, for need-based scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. For priority consideration for financial aid programs and Cal Poly scholarships, complete the FAFSA by March 2. Selection for scholarships is made based on information from the admission application and/or the FAFSA for new students. For more information, click here.
CENG and Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Scholarships - To be considered for these scholarships, students must complete the CEENVE/CENG scholarship application by visiting your portal and clicking on "scholarships" on the left side bar. You only have to complete one application to apply for all available scholarships in CENG and CE/ENVE. After completing your application, you'll be notified during Spring quarter of any scholarships that you qualify for. We recommend applying by March 31st to ensure full consideration. Click here to view a list of CENG/CEENVE scholarships and requirements.
