Brayon Rodriguez Intern Spotlight
Civil engineering student Brayon Rodriguez had great things to say about his experience interning with Kimley-Horn at their Downtown Los Angeles office.
“This internship has given me a valuable understanding of what it’s like working at a top-tier consulting firm. My team has let me be a part of important meetings and has given me a high level of responsibility on important projects, which shows how invested in you they really are... The main project I’ve worked on is one in Lancaster which involves reconfiguring a partial cloverleaf interchange by adding two roundabouts that connect to the on- and off-ramps. I’ve contributed by assisting with right-of-way acquisition exhibits and the design of alignment to existing lanes and ramps. It’s fulfilling knowing I will have made an impact on an entire community once this project is constructed.”
