Learn by Doing

The curricula in civil and environmental engineering are project intensive. Students have the opportunity to work on class assignments, sponsored projects, and graduate research in fifteen well-equipped laboratories. Teamwork is emphasized.

The department faculty focus on providing interesting field and laboratory experiences throughout the curriculum. In addition, faculty research and consulting allows both undergraduate and graduate students to become involved in state-of-the-practice experiences.
